class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On November 3, 2026, at the seat of Poland\u2019s Constitutional Tribunal (CT), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/LJkJlJwkEIk?si=BIGL4yAqVP4U_cxn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a meeting was held that its participants called the General Assembly of the Judges of the CT<\/a>. It was convened by Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, who <a href=\"https:\/\/ordoiuris.pl\/en\/press-newsdesk\/police-takeover-of-polands-constitutional-tribunal-anatomy-of-a-coup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">since October 30 has been presenting herself as the person standing in for the President of the Tribunal<\/a>. Eight persons took part in it: Magdalena Bentkowska, Dariusz Szostek and S\u0142awomir Patyra, who have taken the oath before the President of the Republic, as well as <strong>Krystian Markiewicz, Maciej Taborowski, Marcin Dziurda, Maciej Berek and Anna Korwin-Piotrowska herself \u2013 that is, five persons who have never taken such an oath<\/strong>. Those gathered adopted the draft CT budget for 2027, decided that the quorum was eight persons, and drew lots to select the members of the disciplinary courts and the disciplinary prosecutors in the cases of the President of the CT, Bogdan \u015awi\u0119czkowski, and the Vice-President of the CT, Bart\u0142omiej Socha\u0144ski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the outset, it must be clearly emphasized that, as <a href=\"https:\/\/obserwator-praworzadnosci.pl\/pl\/cokolwiek-zgromadzenie-ogolne-tk-postanowi-3-listopada-bedzie-to-calkowicie-niewazne-opinia-prawna-instytutu-ordo-iuris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">we pointed out on Monday<\/a>, <strong>the \u201cAssembly\u201d was invalid from the very moment it was convened<\/strong>. It was convened by a person who is not a judge of the CT and who, therefore, all the more cannot stand in for the President of the Tribunal.
