Its establishment was motivated by a conviction shared within our community: that law is a reality too complex to be adequately understood solely as a set of rules or through mere reference to the authority of natural law. Therefore, we aim to present law as a cultural phenomenon in all its complexity and as a culture-shaping factor that exists in multi-level interactions with other dimensions of human experience. We seek to create a space for the exchange of ideas among those for whom the question of values in law is a significant motivation for undertaking academic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are honored that prominent Polish lawyers, sociologists, anthropologists, philosophers, and theologians have accepted our invitation to join the Academic Council of the journal. This distinguished group includes Prof. Pawe\u0142 Sobczyk, Prof. Teresa Mr\u00f3z, Rev. Prof. Grzegorz Leszczy\u0144ski, Prof. Antoni Boja\u0144czyk, Prof. Marek Rembierz, Rev. Prof. Piotr Morciniec, Prof. Wojciech \u015awi\u0105tkiewicz, Prof. Zdzis\u0142awa Kobyli\u0144ska, Rev. Prof. Franciszek Longchamps de B\u00e9rier, Prof. Krzysztof Motyka, Prof. Krzysztof Wiak, Prof. Joanna Haberko, Prof. Miros\u0142aw Granat, Prof. Piotr Niczyporuk, and Prof. Oktawian Nawrot. The late Prof. Jerzy Kwa\u015bniewski was also a member of the Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite both theoreticians and practitioners of law, as well as specialists from other fields (particularly the humanities and social sciences), to submit scholarly articles for upcoming issues of <em>The Legal Culture<\/em>. We encourage you to register on our journal\u2019s website under the \u201cSubmissions\u201d tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Legal Culture<\/em> is a scored journal.
