On 28 May 2026, an international meeting dedicated to the protection of human dignity at the end of life will take place in Paris. Olivier Bault, Director of Communications at the Ordo Iuris Institute, will participate in the conference entitled “Protéger la dignité en fin de vie : stop à l’euthanasie en Europe” (“Protecting Dignity at the End of Life: Stop Euthanasia in Europe”).

The event is organized by the Political Network for Values – a global platform bringing together representatives from more than 45 countries, committed to promoting policies grounded in respect for human dignity, the protection of fundamental freedoms, and family values. The French foundation La Bourse Tocqueville is serving as co-organizer.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 28 May at 6:30 PM at the Maison de l’Argentine (27A Bd Jourdan, 75014 Paris). The program includes a panel discussion with European legislators, legal experts and civil society representatives, as well as an open plenary debate and networking session. Among the speakers will be MEP Laurence Trochu, Polonia Castellanos – President of Abogados Cristianos, who led the legal defense of Noelia Castillo in Spain, and Grégor Puppinck, President of the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ).

The starting point for the debate is the case of Noelia Castillo – a case from Spain that exposed the serious risks associated with the broadening of euthanasia legislation and its application to the most vulnerable individuals.

Olivier Bault’s participation in this event reflects the Ordo Iuris Institute’s wide-ranging commitment to the protection of human life and its active engagement in European and global bioethical debate.
