On Friday and Saturday, two international conferences will be held in Bratislava on the protection of life, natural law, and building a society based on Christian values.

Representatives of Ordo Iuris will participate in both events.

Speakers will include politicians, scholars, activists, journalists, and clergy from countries such as France, the United States, Slovakia, Spain, Syria, and Hungary.

The events in Bratislava are organized by the Ladislav Hanus Institute. Representatives of Ordo Iuris will take part in both conferences, including President Jerzy Kwaśniewski, Director of the Center for International Law Weronika Przebierała, and Director of Development Zbigniew Przybyłowski.
The theme of Friday’s Conservative Law Conference will center on the protection of life. Speakers will discuss, among other topics, ways to strengthen legal safeguards for unborn children in Europe, how to respond to the crisis of Western civilization, and how to build a culture of life. Attorney Jerzy Kwaśniewski will speak about Poland’s experience in the struggle to defend life. The Ordo Iuris president will also take part in a panel dedicated to initiatives aimed at increasing the level of protection of life in Europe and the United States. The conference will also feature, among others, MEP Stephen Nikola Bartulica from Croatia and Paul Coleman, Executive Director of the American think tank Alliance Defending Freedom. Speakers from the United States, France, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary will also participate in the event.
The second event is the Conservative Summit. The organizers describe it as “the largest Central European gathering of conservative Christian leaders from the worlds of politics, culture, the Church, civil society, the media, academia, and business.” The Summit will address topics such as Europe’s cultural and religious identity, migration, demographic trends, pro-life and pro-family policies, energy and military security, the future of Christians in the Middle East, and cooperation in Central Europe. Jerzy Kwaśniewski will speak on a panel on the protection of life and human dignity. Other speakers will include Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Krzysztof Bosak, Polish MP Karina Bosak, Prof. Ryszard Legutko, Polish former Minister of National Education, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Gudrun Kugler from Austria, MEP Nicolas Bay from France, and MEP Miriam Lexmann from Slovakia. Guests from the United States, France, Spain, Syria, and Hungary will also take part in the conference.
