On February 3, the European Parliament in Brussels will host the 7th Transatlantic Summit of the Political Network for Values, an international network of conservative politicians and activists from both sides of the Atlantic.

The Ordo Iuris Institute was a co-organizer of the previous Transatlantic Summit of the Political Network for Values, which took place in December 2024 in the Spanish Senate. This time, the co-organizers on the European side are the European Conservatives and Reformists and Patriots for Europe groups in the European Parliament.

The Ordo Iuris Institute will be represented at the Transatlantic Summit in Brussels by Weronika Przebierała, Director of the Institute’s Center for International Law, Julia Książek, a legal analyst, and Olivier Bault, Director of the Institute’s Communication Center.

The summit, entitled “Free Speech vs Regulated Speech: Strengthening the Pillars of Democracy,” will bring together politicians and social activists from Europe, Africa, and the Americas to participate in a high-level dialogue on freedom of expression as a fundamental pillar of democratic societies.

Discussions will focus on the role of public institutions, parliaments, academia, culture, and international organizations in protecting this fundamental right, particularly in light of the ongoing debate on the implementation and impact of the EU’s Digital Services Act.
