academic publishing house
The Academic Publishing House of the Ordo Iuris Institute is engaged in publishing works thematically related to the mission and statutory objectives of the Ordo Iuris Institute. We publish both academic research papers as well as studies of a more general and popularizing nature. In all our publishing activities, we are guided by high editorial standards and strive to ensure that our publications make an original and creative contribution to academic and public debates on issues most relevant to the proper functioning of the state, society, and legal system.
All published works address issues related to legal culture in the broadest sense and its relationship with other disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. We are particularly interested in studies devoted to the formation of legal culture, the protection of human rights and freedoms, the condition of the family, the actions of public authorities, and respect for the constitutional legal order. We are convinced that, for the proper functioning of the state and society, it is necessary to promote law as a field that directly relates to the highest moral values.
We regularly publish five series: Ordo Iuris Library, Reports of the Ordo Iuris Institute, Guidebooks, Guides, and Brochures. The first two series include original and peer-reviewed academic works that meet the legal criteria for academic monographs. The remaining series feature studies that present some of the most important practical legal issues in a clear and accessible manner—issues that each of us may encounter in everyday life. We believe that a publishing model combining both academic and popularizing works is appropriate and necessary in light of the realities and demands of the contemporary world.
