There is a lot of hard work ahead of us, though. Our teams of experts have been working for months not only on stopping the destruction of the state by Donald Tusk, but – most importantly – we are preparing a series of projects and analyses that will make up a plan to repair Poland.
On Sunday evening, Donald Tusk’s camp celebrated a victory in the presidential elections, and Rafał Trzaskowski announced his wife as the “first lady.” Now we know beyond any doubt that the next President of the Republic of Poland will be Karol Nawrocki! We know that the new president will need a solid academic and social foundation, capable of delivering independent analyses and reports, and orchestrating wide-reaching social campaigns. We are always ready for such cooperation when it is aimed at defending life, family, freedom, and sovereignty. From experience, we know that not every politician can cooperate with an independent and grassroots community. We believe, however, that a president who so firmly declares his commitment to the values we share will want to take advantage of our effective support.
Trzaskowski wants to have us prosecuted for the #AnyoneButTrzaskowski campaign
The Ordo Iuris Institute is an independent analysis and litigation center. The Center for Life and Family is an equally independent organization for social campaigns and grassroots initiatives. We do not engage in party politics and we are not the support base for any single political faction.
We collaborate with everyone who shares our dedication to the mission of defending life, family, liberty, and sovereignty. Together with our Friends, Donors, and Supporters, we know that without these values, Poland will not survive.
The possibility of Rafał Trzaskowski winning in the Sunday presidential elections was a threat to everything we fight for every day. Therefore, we launched a massive operation, and our clear, concrete, and well-argued message has reached millions of Poles in the last four weeks. The “#AnythingButTrzaskowski” campaign (#ByleNieTrzaskowski in Polish), the website “PolskaWPOtrzasku” and the wide distribution of thousands of flyers and posters reminded millions of Poles of the true views of Rafał Trzaskowski, that he had decided to hide for the duration of the campaign. What was worse for Rafał Trzaskowski, we also widely promoted – before the second round of elections – a comparison of his views to those of Karol Nawrocki.
The fate of our homeland was at stake until the final hours. Ultimately, Karol Nawrocki’s victory was decided by 369,451 of the more than 20 million votes cast.
There is no doubt that we also had our part in this important victory for Poland.
Rafał Trzaskowski’s team was well aware that we posed a real threat to them. Even before the first round of the election, they announced prosecutorial pursuit against us for the “#AnythingButTrzaskowski” campaign. On the eve of the second round, the attack and threats were renewed by a prominent politician of Donald Tusk’s party – the deputy leader of the Civic Platform and deputy minister of national defense – Cezary Tomczyk.
Rafał Trzaskowski’s powerful team, equipped with enormous resources and foreign support, not only feared us, but ultimately lost to a broad coalition of people and organizations that are close to us!
The new president needs support and reliable information
But the most important thing is still ahead of us!
Now begins the time when a key role can be played by the coalition of the Ordo Iuris Institute and the Life and Family Center. Karol Nawrocki clearly declared in his election campaign that as the President of Poland, he will defend life, faith, family, liberty, and Polish sovereignty.
Taking these assurances at face value, today we extend to the new president an offer of cooperation and support in achieving these most important goals. Long-standing Ordo Iuris programs – Life and Bioethics, Family and Marriage, Free and Independent Poland, Liberty and the Rule of Law, In Defense of Christians, and Protect the Children! School and Education – are considered a valuable resource of experts and ideological leaders in society. Our expertise, analyses, and reports address the most important social issues, state policies, and international affairs.
Similarly valuable are the social campaigns of the Center for Life and Family. The Marches for Life and Family, conducted for twenty years, gather local leaders throughout Poland. The Network of Family-Friendly Schools, supported by the Center Coalition for the Rescue of Polish Schools, is an invaluable support base of parents, teachers, and educators united by a common concern for children and schools. This is just a part of the effective social campaigns supported by the Center for Life and Family.
In the coming months, bills attacking freedom of speech, life protection, and marriage will reach the desk of President Karol Nawrocki. At the international level, the adoption of International Health Regulations is being considered, and in the European Union – a striking reform of treaties that affects our sovereignty. At the UN, Poland remains an ally of globalists and sits among the enemies of family and liberty. In each of these areas, the bold and decisive actions of the Polish President can—in application of Poland’s constitutional norms—have tremendous and practical significance. We have already prepared advisory analyses and reports on each of these topics.
Our close cooperation with patriotic judicial, prosecutorial, and legal communities —which translated in a grand conference within the walls of the Constitutional Tribunal dedicated to the rule of law in Poland – represents an opportunity for presidential justice reform.
One thing is certain – we cannot allow our new president to be pushed onto the defensive, through the use of mechanisms of government control of finances, changes in the budget, and the bypassing of the constitutional role of the President.
We cannot afford to waste the spectacular victory over the establishment and the elites of today’s Third Polish Republic, the establishment circles, celebrities, and European bureaucrats with Ursula von der Leyen at the forefront. A common-sense, libertarian, Christian, and sovereigntist movement must demonstrate that it will not allow Poland to be dominated by those for whom “Polishness is an abnormality,” as Donald Tusk once said.
The battle ahead of us is for:
- the right to life of unborn children
- freedom of speech on the internet, in the media, at universities, and on the streets
- innocence, purity, and freedom from radical ideologies for our children and grandchildren
- freedom of conscience and religion, and the rights of believers
- the constitutional identity of marriage and family
- the security of our borders
- Polish sovereignty in Europe
- the independence of courts and public prosecutor’s offices
- the rule of law as well as civil rights and liberties
The government of Donald Tusk has undertaken and announced initiatives that impact each of these areas of our activity.
In each of them, we are therefore facing a major battle in which we count on the resolute action of the head of state. Therefore, we need to now engage our analytical programs and social campaign structures with increased vigor, in order to undertake fruitful cooperation—through advice and pressure—with the new president, Karol Nawrocki.
