Another edition of TradFest—an international gathering of conservative leaders—will be held in Zagreb. Among the speakers will be Olivier Bault, Director of Communications at the Ordo Iuris Institute. The event will be attended by politicians, scientists, and activists from the USA, Hungary, Croatia, and Poland, among others.
The next edition of the international festival of conservative circles—TradFest 2026—will take place in Zagreb on April 24–25, 2026. It is an annual meeting of politicians, intellectuals, and social activists who reflect on the directions of development of contemporary societies and promote a return to values rooted in Europe’s tradition and Christian heritage. This year’s edition takes place under the theme “The Reemergence of Christian Nations.”
” TradFest is an unapologetic festival of traditional and conservative ideas in contrast to so called ‘progressive’ and militant secularist ideas and policies which have in a violent and revolutionary manner in the past subdued and are still today more than 25 years after the fall of communism actively working to deconstruct and do away with the traditional, conservative and Christian foundations and culture of Croatia, Europe and the Western world,” the organizers emphasize.
The program for the event includes panels and talks devoted, among other things, to geopolitical shifts, the role of nation-states, and the state of Europe after decades of left-liberal dominance.
Among the invited speakers are, among others, Cardinal Vinko Puljić (Archbishop Emeritus of Sarajevo), Brian Brown, president of the International Organization for the Family, James Carafano of The Heritage Foundation, Vice John Batarelo, president of the Vigilare Foundation, and Márton Ugrósdy, Deputy State Secretary of Hungary.
A representative of the Ordo Iuris Institute—the Director of Communications, Olivier Bault—will also attend the event. One of the participants will also be Krešimir Grebenar from Ordo Iuris Górecki.
” TradFest creates a space for the spreading of good ideas, personal contacts and networking of people with similar views and values. As such it works to help Croatia to throw off the destructive remnents of communism and to grow into a mature society by re-integrating its rich Christian heritage and culture.”
