Social activists and politicians representing more than 30 Lithuanian organizations dedicated to the protection of life, the family, sovereignty, and Christian heritage visited the headquarters of the Ordo Iuris Institute in Warsaw.
2
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the guests with the activities of Ordo Iuris and the Center for Life and Family, as well as to discuss areas and methods of cooperation between the organizations.

Among the guests was Rimantas Jonas Dagys, former Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas and former Minister of Social Affairs and Labour.

The visitors included representatives of Lithuanian civil society and non-governmental organizations. Among them were Violeta Vasiliauskienė, Chairwoman of the National Association of Families and Parents of Lithuania; Rimantas Jonas Dagys, representative of the Institute for the Family, President of the Christian Union, longtime member of parliament, former Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania, and former Minister of Social Affairs and Labour; Tomas Senūta, also representing the Institute for the Family and serving on the Board of the Christian Union; Simonas Streikus from the organization “The Truth Will Set You Free”; and Antoni Urmański (Antanas Urma) from the international organization Pro-Life Europe, which operates in Lithuania and is also launching activities in Poland.
Our Lithuanian guests also attended presentations on the activities of Ordo Iuris conducted within the framework of six programmes: Life and Bioethics, Family and Marriage, Freedom and the Rule of Law, Christian Identity, School and Education, and a Sovereign and Independent Republic of Poland. Each programme coordinator presented their area of activity and answered questions from the guests. The presentations were delivered by attorneys Katarzyna Gęsiak, Weronika Przebierała, Jędrzej Jabłoński, and Marcin Perłowski.
Separate presentations covered the ways in which the Ordo Iuris Institute funds its activities and maintains relations with supporters, donors, and the Circle of Friends of Ordo Iuris, presented by Dominik Jabs, Coordinator of the Circle of Friends. Additional presentations addressed the organization of work and the scope of cases handled by the Litigation Center, presented by Stanisław Paszkiewicz, as well as the structure and functioning of the Institute’s Communications Center, presented by Olivier Bault.
“This all-day meeting demonstrates a growing awareness of the need for a joint effort to defend values among organizations committed to protecting life, the family, sovereignty, and Christian heritage at both the regional and international levels. We face the same problems and challenges, and we are increasingly ready to support one another in our efforts,” emphasized Ordo Iuris’ Director for International Outreach Zbigniew Przybyłowski.
The purpose of the visit by our Lithuanian guests was to enable representatives of our organizations to become better acquainted with one another, to present the areas of Ordo Iuris’s activity and the methods by which it carries out its mission, and to discuss potential areas and forms of cooperation aimed at jointly supporting the protection of life and human dignity, marriage, the family, children, sovereignty, and the Christian heritage of our two nations.
One of the main points on the agenda was a meeting with the Ordo Iuris Board devoted to discussing the organization’s strategic directions for development, as well as the scope and forms of cooperation in light of the specific national context. Representing Ordo Iuris at this meeting were President Jerzy Kwaśniewski, Vice Presidents Monika Leszczyńska and Marcin Perłowski, Board Member Rafał Dorosiński, and Director for International Outreach Zbigniew Przybyłowski.
Our Lithuanian guests represented more than 30 organizations united under the umbrella of the Lithuanian Association of Families and Parents, while maintaining their individual profiles and independence. The organizations are currently working to expand their reach and develop effective methods of cooperation. During the strategic discussion, participants examined the advantages and disadvantages of centralized and decentralized operational models, as well as the challenges each model presents for effective international cooperation. Concrete actions and structures that could facilitate such cooperation were also proposed.
