As the Advocate General of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), Dean Spielmann, pointed out in an opinion issued on March 11 regarding the primacy of EU law over national constitutions, Poland has violated its obligations to the European Union when its Constitutional Tribunal issued rulings that undermine the supremacy of EU law.
